Healthy Little Havana Falls Prevention
Healthy Little Havana is proud to launch a new, two-year Falls Prevention Initiative thanks to a federal grant awarded by the Administration for Community Living (ACL) through the National Council on Aging (NCOA). This program is designed to help older adults in our neighborhood reduce their risk of falling, one of the leading causes of injury and hospitalization among seniors.
Falls are preventable. With the right support, education, and activities, older adults can improve their balance, mobility, and confidence. Our program offers free, bilingual, and culturally tailored activities to help older residents stay active and safe in their homes and neighborhoods.
Let’s work together to prevent falls and promote healthy aging in our community!
